  • ImprovedWhen the network drops, YTVT keeps trying to reconnect for about 30 seconds instead of a few, so a brief outage no longer ends the translation.
  • NewWhile reconnecting, the popup shows “Connection lost, reconnecting…” and the toolbar icon shows it too.
  • ImprovedAfter a reconnect, subtitles keep appearing and stay in step with the video.

  • NewTranslate the audio of videos and live streams as they play: click the YTVT icon to hear an AI voice in your language, with subtitles.
  • NewThree playback modes: translated voice only, translated voice mixed with the original, or subtitles only.
  • NewScrolling subtitles show each original line with its translation; click a line to jump to that point in the video.
  • NewA floating control panel can stay open on the page. Drag it wider or narrower, or snap it to either edge.
  • NewThe extension's interface is available in 20 languages.
